The Silvertown Baptist church hosted a community march and an open-air concert, to highlight the negative effects of substance abuse, as well as child and woman abuse, as part of its Youth Day commemoration on Friday June 16. The church has, over the past five years, driven a strong awareness project about substance abuse and its related negative challenges. Three ministries within the church were born from this, namely Lamppost Ministries, the Men’s Accountability Group and Silver Linings.
