Bongi Mvuyana brings Power to Bree Street

Staff Reporter|Published 2 months ago

Bongi Mvuyana promises a carefully curated experience with her signature heartfelt delivery, intimate storytelling, and a full band accompaniment.

Alternative soul artist Bongi Mvuyana is taking her new album, Power, on tour with an intimate performance at Youngblood, in Bree Street in the Cape Town city centre, on Saturday March 29.

Power is a jazzy soul-infused, genre-bending album filled with lush instrumentation and personal lyrics that reflect themes of love, growth, and resilience.

Audiences can expect live renditions of fan favourites, including Ngizokulinda, Egoli, and tracks from previous albums such as Dopamine.

“These shows are deeply personal and incredibly exciting for me,” says Bongi. “It’s a chance to bring the Power album into an intimate live space and share not just the music but the stories and experiences behind each song.”

Tickets cost R275 through Quicket.
