Non-profit organisation, One5Three Foundation, hosted its annual Christmas party for more than 700 underprivileged children at four venues in Bonteheuwel on Saturday December 14. Father Christmas visited the host homes in Dissel Road, Loganberry Street, Bonteheuwel Avenue and Boxwood Street. The children received Santa shoeboxes, party packets, and were treated to sweet treats and cooldrinks.
Little Chloé Snell, 2, was over the moon when Father Christmas ( Andre Barros) gifted her with a soft toy. Sharing in her joy, is her mother, Loren. The four venues were decorated with Christmas trimmings to add to the festive cheer. Here some of the excited children wait for their turn to receive their gift boxes.The home of One5Three Foundation’s founder, Belinda Barros, resembled a warehouse, as she and her volunteers packed and decorated all the gift boxes.
