The devastating floods in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of the Eastern Cape just made us realise again how small we as humans really are.
It's like the song says: "how small we are, how little we know.“ We can do so many things, even go to the moon and back but we were unable to stop the storm, and the devastation.
However, what is really heart-warming is how ordinary people opened their hearts for the flood victims. Even before the government could step in, Gift of the Givers went out of their way to help the victims, as well as churches and even bikers.
It's in times like these that we can see how many good people there still are in our country.
