Load shedding, load shedding, load shedding. It's almost like a swear word already. Everybody is tired of it, and the worst part is there is nothing anybody can do about it, not even the minister of electricity seems to have a clue what to do to stop load shedding.
If only the government had at least tried to do something about it years ago when they were warned about the situation. But no, they didn't listen, and they are still not listening, and I can't help but wonder, do they even get load shedding? I suppose not because they can afford generators etc.
But, even if the small businesses can afford to buy generators, the petrol for it is just too expensive. So what do we get? More unemployment! There is just no quick fix or easy solution to the problem, and if the government implies that they have a solution, it's just to get votes for the election next year.
It's just too little to late. May God help us so that the grid doesn't collapse completely. We must keep on praying, because only God can help us.
