Belgravia High School hosted our annual mass iftaar on Thursday March 20 and it was a huge success. We invited 350 orphans to enjoy the evening with us, and a total of 500 guests were in attendance.
We had 40 learners, who we refer to as Bellies Angels, who volunteered their time to make sure the event ran smoothly, and we are so grateful for all their assistance.
We were able to share a hot meal, savouries, sweet treats, and refreshments were served and a goodie bag was handed out to every orphan.
I would like to thank all the sponsors. All the learners who availed themselves to assist, a big thank you to you too, as well as the team who assisted in the kitchen. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to former ward councillor, Magedien Davids, for his ongoing support, and thanks to all our guests.
