Staff Reporter|Published 5 months ago

The Temple Boys will perform at the Unity On The Square festival.

The fourth edition of the annual Unity On The Square festival will take place at Greenmarket Square on Monday December 16, from 2pm to 11pm.

This year’s theme is “30 Years of Democracy”and will feature Loukmaan Adams as its headline act.

Sharing the stage with him will be his brother, Emo Adams, Youngsta CPT, Salome, Tashreeq De Villiers aka TDV, as well as The Temple Boys.

To commemorate 30 years of democracy, the festival is offering tickets at R30.

"Unity On The Square has become a significant part of Cape Town's cultural calendar. 2024 is a big one for Unity On The Square – we’re celebrating 30 years of democracy, and that makes this year’s event even more powerful. It’s a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come as a country and, of course, to party like only Cape Town knows how! I’m beyond hyped to be producing this year's celebration – it’s all about bringing people together, creating unforgettable moments, and making sure this anniversary feels as bold and vibrant as the culture we’re celebrating," said Loukmaan Adams.

There will be food stalls and handmade artisan products on sale.

Book through Quicket.

Tashreeq De Villiers is on the Unity On The Square festival line-up.
