Hosted at the newly revamped HollywoodBets Kenilworth Racecourse, this isn’t just a race; it’s a high-octane fusion of sport, style, and socializing, where the fashion stakes are as high as the horses' speeds.

The MET is the crown jewel of the Cape Summer Festival of Racing—a season that started in November and has been building up to this very moment.

The 2,000m Grade 1 World Sports Betting Cape Town MET race boasts a R5 million purse, up from R2 million last year, and promises to deliver world-class racing.

Last year’s race delivered a thrilling upset, with DOUBLE SUPERLATIVE charging across the line at 33/1, courtesy of British jockey Daniel Muscutt.

This year, the anticipation is palpable, with fans already placing their bets and selecting their outfits.
