Retired teachers honoured

The Movement Against Illegitimate Leaders (Mail) hosted a ceremony where retired teachers across Cape Town were honoured. The event took place at the Glass Slipper hall in Ottery on Saturday October 15. Here Rasida Adams, right, retired teacher from Peak View High Schoo,l receives a certificate and medal of recognition from Aaliyah Adams and Zaheera Mohammed.

Retired principal of Rylands Primary School, Mark Dasan Chetty, receives a certificate and medal of recognition from his former pupil, Ameerah Khan.

Aaliya Adams and Zaheera Mohamed hand over a medal and a certificate to Moegamat Kashief Abrahams, retired principal of Willows Primary School.

Retired teachers from across Cape Town were honoured at this special ceremony.
