A 19-year-old man faces a charge of malicious damage to property following an ATM bombing in Hanover Park.
A security company was alerted to an alarm at the ATM, in Stonelands Road, just after 3am on Wednesday March 29, according to Philippi police station spokesman Captain Lance Goliath.
The security officers found the suspect with a crowbar in his possession, said Captain Goliath.
The ATM was excessively damaged but no cash had been taken.
The security officers handed the man over to the Philippi police.
