Disabled women honoured

The Cape Town Association for the Physically Disabled hosted a Women’s Day event at the Dulcie September Civic Centre on Thursday August 17. Tohira Jardine from Rape Crisis gave a talk about the work her organisation does.
Catherine Floris, a client of the Cape Town Association for the Physically Disabled, spoke about overcoming life’s obstacles.
Constable Shandre Japtha spoke about reporting gender-based violence.
After the talks, the women took to the dance floor.
