Members of the Greater Athlone Volunteer Group helped the South African National Zakah Fund (Sanzaf) with the packing of 1 350 food hampers on Friday March 29 at Rylands Primary School. Sanzaf is distributing more than 29 000 of the hampers across the Western Cape to ensure that needy families can enjoy a meal on Eid.
Volunteers packed 5 000 hampers at Dulcie September Civic Centre on Saturday March 30.
