The V&A Waterfront launched their latest sustainability campaign, called Our Better Nature, on Saturday June 29, with the Ocean Light Festival.

Dancers from the Michelle Davids dance group are Shane Davids from Bridgetown, Nikisha Abrahams from Hanover Park, Liam White from Heideveld, Shannan Lee Sass from Hanover Park and Anthea Juries from Belhar.

The campaign showcases the efforts by the Waterfront community, including their tenants, to make small changes for the sake of the environment. It also aims to encourage sustainable choices.

The Waterfront has curated a series of events, activations, and a nature-inspired art route up to mid-August, designed to guide visitors on a journey towards greater environmental consciousness.

The festival sported light displays, performances by local artists, and the Cape Town Carnival Parade presence in celebration of Cape Town’s oceans.
