Bonteheuwel non-profit company, Paradigm Leadership Academy for Youth (PLAY), and its partners hosted a two-day introductory course to coach the game of lacrosse at the Bonteheuwel civic centre on Monday December 9 and Tuesday December 10. After the coaches training, a development programme was held at Rosewood Primary School on Thursday December 12 and Friday December 13. Angelo Coetzee, director of PLAY, said the coaching clinics taught the basic fundamentals of the sport, as well as life skills. The development programme was also introduced to Bramble Way Primary School, with plans to expand to other schools.
