Llandudno Primary School's pupils had fun transforming into their favourite book characters when they celebrated World Book Day on Monday March 3.
Previously, Sentinel reported that the school's Grade 7s and 6s celebrated World Read Aloud Day, on Wednesday February 5, by reading to their younger peers outside the classroom on Wednesday February 5 ('World Read Aloud Day', February).
World Book Day encourages more children and families to find the fun and enjoyment in reading, because reading for pleasure changes lives, according to World Book Day's website.
All pupils and staff dressed up as various fan favourite literature icons including Matilda, The Ice Monsters, The Bad Bunny and many more beloved characters.
The best dressed pupils each received a voucher from Exclusive Books at the V&A Waterfront.
