Manenberg SAPS is in the process of establishing sector crime forums and has called on organisations registered with the Community Police Forum (CPF) to nominate candidates for its upcoming elections.

The station’s policing precinct is divided into three sectors.

Sector One is predominantly the Manenberg residential area. This is the area between Govan Mbeki Drive and Turfhall Road. Sergeant Percy Keyster is the Sector One manager.

Sector Two is the Surrey Estate, Druiwevlei, and Tambo Village area. This area is situated between Turfhall Road and Klipfontein Road area. Constable Zakkie Julius is the Sector  Two manager.

Sector Three is the Heideveld, Vanguard Estate, and Welcome Estate area. The area is between Klipfontein Road and the N2 highway. Sergeant Natasha Landers is the Sector Three manager.

Manenberg SAPS spokesperson, Captain Ian Bennett, said every sector needs to have a sector crime forum.

“The sector managers will manage the process and Manenberg SAPS management will host the voting process.
