A Bokmakierie husband and wife are set to host an empowering modelling show for fuller-figure women on Saturday, December 6, at Spesbona School Hall.

Yolande Johannes and Brent Johannes aim to celebrate body positivity and challenge narrow beauty standards by showcasing the confidence and elegance of women of all shapes and sizes.

Yolande said the goal is to show that every woman deserves to feel seen, valued, and beautiful in her own skin.

Beyond promoting self-love, the show will also support a worthy cause. Proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital to assist children born with cleft palates.

“Cape Town is about more than what people think -it’s about heart, hope, and community,” Yolande said.

The evening promises fashion, confidence, and compassion, featuring local talent and celebrating inclusivity in true Cape Town style.

The event starts at 4pm, and tickets will be sold at the door at R100 for adults and R50 for children aged six to twelve. For more information, contact Ms Johannes at 076 493 6510.
