Body found in Manenberg

On Monday February 27 at 6.30am, the body of unidentified man was found in Duinefontein Road.

Manenberg SAPS was called to scene where they found the body of a man, approximately in his late fifties, with a gunshot wound to the face.

It is suspected that he put up a fight when he was being robbed and his assailants then shot him in the face, killing him instantly.

A case of murder has been opened for investigation. No arrests have been made.
