The Callas Foundation and Africa Muslims Agency hosted a mass iftaar in Kiewiet Road, Bridgetown, on Wednesday April 20. Hundreds of people attended the event.
Vanessa Swartz and Warren-Lee Papier were among the volunteers who handed out a warm meal to all those who attended.Kiewiet Road in Bridgetown was cordoned off for about two hours to accommodate those who turned up to break their fast together.Sheikh Salieg Isaacs, front right, led the evening prayers.
