Literature for the little ones

The literacy project of Hanover Park-based non-profit organisation, Community Action towards a Safer Environment (CASE), in collaboration with seven primary schools, participated in the World Read Aloud Day on Thursday February 16. The schools included Portia, Belmor, Newfields, Parkfields, Athwood, Blomvlei and Voorspoed primary schools. This is the second year the CASE Literacy Project participated in the World Read Aloud Day, reaching almost 6 000 children, compared to last year’s total of 2 300.
