No arrests have been made following a gang-related shooting.
Police are looking for the shooters of a 19-year-old man who was killed in Bonteheuwel.
According to Bishop Lavis police spokesman, Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, two men were standing at the One Stop Supermarket in Kersboom Street, on Saturday December 5, when a white Toyota Quantum van pulled up and gunmen opened fire.
The 19-year-old sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and died on the scene. No arrests have been made.
Police suspect the motive for the shooting is gang related.
One man was shot dead and two were wounded, in Bonteheuwel, on the same day, in what police believe is a retaliation gang shooting.
Gunmen entered a Jakkalsvlei Avenue house and fired several shots, killing a 24-year-old and wounding a 31-year-old and a 63-year-old.
Police say the shooting is linked to an ongoing feuding between the Bad Boys and the Americans.
No arrests have been made.
In another incident, police arrested a 35-year-old man for the illegal possession of a gun and ammunition on Friday December 4.
Police say officers patrolling Bonteheuwel were tipped off about a suspected gang lookout loitering in Bramble Way.
The officers found a loaded Llama-Gabilondo 7.65mm pistol on the man.
