The new year started with the petrol price increase, and as it looks, we can expect more petrol price increases.
With it, the cost of living is rising by the second, the value of our money is getting less and less, and you are getting less and less value for your money.
What is even more scary is that after you paid tax and the council, you hardly have money left to buy anything.
The government and the council found a way to make quick money out of the already struggling public by charging levies on just about everything you can think of.
It started with a levy on petrol, now it’s a levy on water, a levy on electricity etc. So even if you try to save water and electricity, you still pay over your head for something you didn’t even use.
I think it’s totally unfair. Everything is already so expensive. Why can’t they take away the levy on the electricity seeing that it’s already so expensive?
One of these days, they going to charge us a levy for the air that we breathe also.
