So this week, the Springboks actually went to Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit as the unlikely underdog.
The world, especially our deluded Capetonian All Black fans, actually believed the Springboks were going to fail on home soil, disappointing our millions of supporters around the world, including fans from other countries too.
But, the Springboks had other plans, displaying their world class abilities and showing the Pumas how to be proper champions.
It was an absolute massacre, as we bullied them in scrum time, won the line-out game and our backline, with hot stepping Cheslyn Kolbe, oh boy!
Kolbe is so good that defences plan on how to tackle him the second time around as you just won’t catch this high flying outstanding winger.
This man has slowly become one of the most lethal attacking weapons in the Springbok side, arguably the best winger in the world right now.
Now he is being surrounded by hungry players like Aphelele Fassi and try scoring machine, Kurt Lee Arendse.
Okay, lets be fair and give the other game a mention. The All Blacks beat Australia to win the same cup they won for I don’t know how long, woo hoo!
Anyway, back to greatness, the Springboks were just simply amazing and I could repeat this word over and over, until we end up winning the next World Cup too.
What fascinates GoalMOUTH about this team is our ruthlessness, driven by a nation and a country wanting to see us excel.
You hear the noise, you see the passion, the tears and in return, these players give up their blood for their country. We that Springboks.
If you wondering why I am not speaking about my beloved Manchester United, well, nothing to speak of. In fact, before we get into that, end of year Springbok tour coming, Scotland? Ready to relive some of those scenes from a Braveheart movie?
Manchester United…. Already my blood pressure starts rising just thinking about this team.
I have made several requests to Dr Rassie Erasmus to leave the Sprinboks in the off season and please help this falling club.
What a pathetic display of a football team, hardly anything to speak and quite frankly, a waste of time. Just because you are my favourite team, what you display on a football pitch, does not deserve my defence.
Defending you is like having two blind centre backs, flanked by two three-year-old defenders with a goalkeeper sitting behind the posts.
Embarrassing, I tell you, and this was supposed to be our season.
Have a laugh at us, this goes out to all our enemies. But remember, there’s still far to go this season, still lots to happen and don’t let me remind you, nobody wins a season in the first 10 games.
Manchester United has forced us supporters to become patient and expect bad results. This week I decided to attack my own team as I simply have nothing to say against other teams, who are growing and showing progression.
With a team such as this, Manchester United losers, the club will only go further down.
GoalMOUTH fully stood behind Erik Ten Hag, but now I am sending out an SOS cry to SA Rugby, please lets Dr Rassie help us recover.
We need a bomb squad at Old Trafford, maybe some bombs can help elevate us to where we need to be.
