SA snooker singles champion, Mutalieb Allie, from Penlyn Estate, added continental glory to his list of accolades after winning last week's All Africa 6 Reds championship, in Morocco. Allie, who was crowned national champion in Goodwood earlier this year, beat Egypt's Mahmoud El Hareedy 6-4 to clinch the title.
In the semi-final he beat Hareedy's countryman, Abdelaziz Hesham, 5-4, following a 5-0 win against Morocco's Yassine Bellamine.
