Titans among the pack in bumper Bay to Bay race

Mitchell's Plain Titans Athletic Club's Romano Wessels seems free as a bird on Suikerbossie Hill, during the return leg in Sunday's Bay to Bay 30km run.

Mitchell’s Plain Titans Athletic Club members were among the more than 5 000 runners who took part in Sunday’s 48th edition of the annual Bay to Bay race, from Camps Bay to Hout Bay and back. The men's race was won by Langa's Edward Jack in  1hr35min19sec. In the women's race, Two Oceans and Comrades record holder, Gerda Steyn, crossed the finish line first in 1hr49min53sec.

Mitchell's Plain Titans' Rafiq Frieslaar takes it easy on Suikerbossie Hill en route to the finish line at Camps Bay High, in Sunday's Bay to Bay 30km race. Frieslaar was among the top 100 finishers.
