VOB turned in a gritty 5‑4 win over the Grassy Park Crusaders to register their eleventh victory in a 21‑game season, finishing in the top four on the log and showing that they aren’t far off from challenging for the top honours next season.
In a contest that was as close as it could get, it was VOB’s timely hitting and situational pitching that made the difference, adding a positive chapter to a campaign that showed real progress from the Chukker Road outfit.
