Athlone News sports editor Fuad Esack, centre, was named community sports journalist of the year at last week’s Cape Town Sports Council ‘s awards evening, in Rondebosch.
Esack also finished in second place at the Forum of Community Journalists’ Local Media Excellence Awards in the category sports reportage, in a virtual ceremony held earlier this month.
