The The Veterans Cricket Association of South Africa (VCASA) HAS selected a 16-man squad to represent South Africa at next week’s fourth International Masters Cricket Over-50s World Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The team will be captained by Mario Solomons from Western Province and managed by Hennie Fourie from Boland.
The South African team has been drawn in a strong pool with the West Indies, Australia, Wales, India, Pakistan and Canada. All 56 matches will be live streamed.
The tournament starts on Saturday February 9 and the cup final will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Sunday February 23
