Oh so close…

The Primrose Hub under-14 team were the runners-up in the Blue Bells Cricket Club Superstrikers Challenge held at Wynberg Boys’ last weekend, losing by a narrow margin of only two runs in the final against St Augustine’s Cricket Club.  The hub boys won five out of five matches earlier in the day in this sixes format tournament, to get into the final televised by Supersport, with celebrity Cobras players watching on. Pictured is the under-14 team with their runners-up medals, Yaseen Mohamad, Abdullah Adams (Captain), Fagad Khan, Callum Sayers, Samir Dzinic and Kieran Bowers. Fourteen teams took part in the tournament.
